How we plan to earn revenue
Over time we expect to earn money in two ways: connecting homeowners who want quotes with contractors who want project requests, and displaying advertising. Neither is live across the site today.
What money never buys
Payment cannot change a cost estimate, move a company up in search results, or add a quality claim to a listing. Our Best Match order is deterministic: it depends only on how well a company matches your search terms, trade, and location, plus whether usable contact details are present.
Labeling
If a placement is paid, it will be labeled as advertising where you see it. We will not disguise a paid placement as an organic result.
